The Pocahontas County Solid Waste Commission is seeking qualified applicants for a Part-Time Operator Position at the Transfer Station.

The position shall perform the following duties, including, but not limited to: loading the transfer trailer; operating a skid loader; operating a compactor; operating the scale; and billing excess solid waste. Successful candidate must have a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work with computers and related software.  Mechanical aptitude is preferred.

Wage will be commensurate with experience and an excellent benefit program is provided.
