The Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Dispatcher/Jailer position:

Starting pay is $21.88 per hour, with scheduled pay increases to $24.40 per hour after 2 years. Benefits include paid family health insurance, IPERS, vacation and sick pay, comp time, shift differential pay, and holiday pay.  The Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office has a brand new facility, with a clean and safe work environment. This position will work various hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
